2020 Texas Fire Marshals Conference
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's annual TFMA conference. After much deliberation on the risks versus benefits of putting the conference on during this time of a national pandemic and holding out as-long-as possible, hoping for a significant positive change in the pandemic status, the decision became obvious. The health, welfare, and mission readiness of our membership, instructors, and vendors are far too important to risk on a conference known for its quality but shackled by attendance limitations, social-distancing requirements, travel restrictions, and venue availability brought on by COVID-19.
